- 12 dates
- 1/2 cup nut butter
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- honey
- Slice dates in half and remove pit
- Spoon nut butter into date and top with chopped nuts
- Drizzle with raw honey
Meatloaf Meatballs
- 1lb 100% grass fed ground meat
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup ground flax meal (or potato starch)
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp fresh or dried parsley (or fresh)
- 1/2 tbsp pink salt
- 1/2 tbsp onion powder
- 4 tbsp of Tomato Paste
- 2 tbsp of honey
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Use your hands (or a wooden spoon) to mix beef, egg, flax meal, garlic, oregano, thyme, parsley, salt and onion powder
- Form into meatballs about 1″ in diameter and place on a baking sheet
- Bake 12 minutes
- While meatballs are baking in a small sauce pan mix honey and tomato paste with 2 tbsp of water – stir and cook for 4 min.
- Remove meatballs to glaze with tomato/honey sauce.
- Bake for an additional 5 minutes to heat sauce and thicken
