I love using herbal tea, spa water, or homemade lemonade/limeade as the liquid in my smoothie. I use Matcha Limeade (recipe below) in this particular recipe. Not only does it give the smoothie a beautiful color, it helps increase water consumption and lowers intake of gums/emulsifiers from nut milks.
