If you're always on the go, having high-protein snacks that are easily accessible to you and your little ones is a must. Grab a guilt-free bite whenever you're craving something sweet!
Here is another simple kid-friendly recipe to get your little ones involved in the kitchen. I have so many variations on store-bought fridge protein bars, but this one is the simplest so I love to have my boys help me with this recipe.
Here's some tips to get your kids to help:
- Use a Kitchen Tower to bring them up to counter height
- Display the measured out ingredients for them
- Let them pour the ingredients into a food processor, pop on the lid and press go!
It's really that simple! The more responsibility I give my boys in making our recipes and the less I control how they do it, the more collaborative, kind behavior I see between them, and the more adventurous, motivated and excited they become! You can have them customize the toppings to their own liking, but you can't go wrong with this classic chocolate and Maldon salt combo. Low-sugar protein bites for the WIN!
