Store bought dressings are sneaky. Ninety-nine percent of them are laden with added sugars, inflammatory oils (vegetable, seed and canola oils), additives, gums, flavorings, fillers and other ingredients you may not be able to pronounce.
In ten minutes, you can whip up a big, creamy batch of ranch dressing that pops with flavor from fresh herbs and only has good ingredients. Bonus, it stays good in the refrigerator for up to two weeks! Just give it a shake and you’re good to go.
The LeVeques are big-time ranch lovers, and here’s what we love to use it on:
- Homemade pizza pockets
- Chicken fingers (3 ways!)
- Crispy oven-fried chicken taquitos
- Air fryer buffalo cauliflower wings
- As an alternative dressing for any of my salad recipes
- As a snack dip for fresh cut veggies
A note on the Fab Four:
Fat dips or dressing, such as Be Well Ranch, can be paired easily with any protein and green/veggie in order to create a blood sugar balancing meal. I often find myself throwing together a lunch salad at home with whatever protein I have on hand, a ton of leftover veggies and this dressing. For dinner, I lean into easy, unfussy and delicious meals like a roasted salmon or chicken, a side salad with Be Well Ranch and maybe a complex carb on the side. Hitting the Fab Four – protein, fat, fiber and greens – ensures I’m plating up nutrient-dense and blood-sugar balancing meals for myself and my family.
