Adding toppings is a great way to make your smoothie routine more fun, interesting, and crave-worthy. I try to keep my pantry and freezer stocked with smoothie essentials to fit my family’s cravings—from things like cacao nibs and chia seeds to hemp hearts and nut butters.
I also personally keep my pantry stocked with my grass-fed, minimal ingredient Be Well protein powder in vanilla, chocolate and unflavored. What I always recommend to my clients is to have protein powders with flavors they truly enjoy, which is why I suggest keeping a vanilla and chocolate protein on hand because you can make so many different varieties with just these two base flavors. Unflavored is great if I want the flavor profile to come from the vegetables or fruits alone.
The easiest way I’ve found to keep the pantry stocked is by using subscription grocery services. My favorite go-to’s are Thrive Market and Amazon, and I keep the most heavily used ingredients on auto-ship so I never run out.
