Be Well Vinaigrette Dressing

Be Well Vinaigrette is a clean, simple dressing with tons of flavor. And I bet you already have all the ingredients on hand to make it!

By making your dressing at home with an olive oil base, you'll be decreasing your omega-6 intake and increasing your heart-healthy, monounsaturated fat intake. Olive oil has even been shown to curb sugar cravings and improve body composition. Plus, when paired with vinegar, this dressing is an effective way to lower blood sugar levels.

Be Well Vinaigrette is the perfect way to dress your greens with a healthy fat component. Why is it important to eat healthy fat with your greens? Many of the nutrients found in greens are more absorbable when ingested with a fat source.

I would use this vinaigrette to dress a traditional salad, any greens, or a crunchy veggie medley. Serve alongside a protein, and you’ll have a blood sugar balancing Fab Four meal!

  • 1/4 cup Champagne vinegar (red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar work well, too)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil


Blender Bottle Directions:

  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender bottle and shake until the dressing emulsifies completely.
  2. Pull out of the fridge 30 minutes before use to let the oil liquefy.
  3. Shake and use to dress your salad.
  4. Store in the fridge for up to a week.

Whisk Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the vinegar, mustard, lemon juice, garlic, and salt until the salt has dissolved.
  2. While whisking, slowly add the oil and whisk until emulsified.
  3. Store in the fridge for up to a week.
