Simple Brussel Sprout Salad

Simple Brussel Sprout Salad

This Simple Brussels Sprouts Salad offers something sweet and salty with the perfect amount of crunch. It has a simple homemade dressing, and it pairs well with just about any protein!

I shave the Brussels sprouts in my Vitamix food processor. Then, just swap blades from shred to slide and process your remaining ingredients until it comes together completely.

Brussels sprouts and green apple provide fiber-rich greens, and Pecorino and olive oil add healthy fat. When you pair this salad with an animal protein like roasted chicken, a burger, simple seared salmon or something similar, it completes your Fab Four meal.

The Fab Four – protein, fat, fiber, and greens – is my loosely structured formula for ensuring blood sugar balance and optimal nutrition at every meal. Together, these four components elongate the blood sugar curve, calm hunger hormones, and provide long-lasting energy.

If you’d like to learn more about how to use the power of the Fab Four to improve your metabolic health and feel your best, check out my video course The Fab Four Fundamentals.
