With temperatures rising and summer just around the corner, we are all reaching for our favorite summer treats. If you’re anything like me, you want to stay hydrated and need ALL the fuel. That is why I rounded up my latest go-to smoothie recipes that taste like treats, are perfect for summer, and the whole family can enjoy!
Here are my summer favorites from my latest book Body Love Every Day:
Chlorophyll Mint Fab 4 Smoothie
- 1 scoop of BWBK Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1/4 avocado
- 1 Tablespoon of chia seeds
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Handful of Spinach
- 1 1/2 cups Chlorophyl Mint Water*
Directions: For the Chlorophyll Mint Water, stir 1 teaspoon of NOW Foods Liquid Chlorophyll, handful of peppermint leaves, and 4-5 cups of filtered water. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend to your desired consistency.
Tropical Treat Fab 4 Smoothie
- 1 scoop of BWBK Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 tablespoon Wild Friends Almond Macadamia Be Well Blend (or Almond butter)
- 2 Tablespoon chia seeds
- Handful of spinach
- 1/4 cup of pineapple (fresh or frozen)
- 1-2 cups of unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon organic shredded coconut (optional)
Directions: Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend to your desired consistency. Top with the shredded coconut if desired.
Vanilla Spice Fab 4 Smoothie
- 1 scoop of BWBK Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 tablespoon MCT oil
- 2 tablespoon acacia fiber
- Handful of spinach
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- 1 to 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
Directions: Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend to your desired consistency.
