Grass-Fed Beef Tacos with Ancestral Blends: A Flavorful, Nutritious Twist on Taco Night

Let me show you how to sneak nature’s multi-vitamin into your diet with flavorful Ancestral Blend Beef Tacos, paired with a homemade pico de gallo and a creamy dollop of guacamole—the perfect, nutrient-packed Fab Four meal.

If you’re looking to boost the nutritional value of your meals without compromising on flavor, this taco recipe is the way to go. The secret? Force of Nature Ancestral Blends (use code Kelly15 for 15% off your purchase) —a blend of high-quality organ meats like liver and heart—that seamlessly integrate into your taco filling, offering all the benefits of organ meats without the texture or flavor that might turn some people off. Even the pickiest eaters won’t know the difference.

Organ meats are packed with vitamins and minerals that are hard to find in other foods. Some of the key nutrients include:

  • Vitamin A: Vital for eye health, skin health, and immune function. Liver, in particular, is one of the best sources of vitamin A.
  • B Vitamins: Organ meats are rich in B12, B6, and folate, which are crucial for energy production, brain function, and red blood cell formation.
  • Iron: Organ meats, especially liver, are an excellent source of heme iron, the most absorbable form of iron, which supports oxygen transport and energy production.
  • Zinc and Selenium: These minerals are important for immune function, wound healing, reproductive health, and antioxidant protection.

Although organ meats are incredibly nutrient-dense, many people shy away from them due to their strong taste or texture. Ancestral Blends solve this problem by blending organ meats into a familiar texture that easily integrates into your favorite dishes—like tacos—without anyone noticing.

By adding Ancestral Blends to your tacos, you're getting a nourishing dose of vitamins and minerals that will keep you feeling your best. The flavor profile is rich and savory, but not overpowering, making this an easy way to upgrade your meals with minimal effort.

Whether you’re looking to supercharge your Taco Tuesday, meal prep for the week, or simply elevate your weeknight dinners, these Ancestral Blend Beef Tacos are a must-try. Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Force of Nature Ancestral Blends
  • 1 lb package of grass-fed ground beef
  • 2 tbsp of chili powder
  • 1 tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Grain-free tortillas

Directions

  1. Place a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add 1 lb of Force of Nature Ancestral Blends and 1 lb of ground beef to the pan. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, begin to combine the meats, breaking them up as they cook. The Ancestral Blends will blend seamlessly into the ground beef, adding flavor and an extra nutritional boost.
  3. Stir the meat mixture regularly, making sure it cooks evenly and breaks apart into crumbles. Continue cooking until the meat is fully browned, about 8-10 minutes. The goal here is to get a nice, browned texture on the beef, which will bring out a rich, savory flavor.
  4. Once the meat is browned, salt to taste and add the seasonings: chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Stir the spices into the meat mixture, allowing the flavors to meld together. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  5. Once the spices are fully incorporated, lower the heat to low and let the meat simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing all the flavors to combine and infuse the beef. This step is optional, but it helps to deepen the flavors. If the mixture looks a little dry, you can add a splash of water or broth to help it all come together.
  6. Now that your flavorful filling is ready, it’s time to assemble your tacos. Grab your favorite grain-free tortillas (or lettuce wraps if you're going low-carb) and spoon the meat mixture into each one. Top with your favorite taco toppings like shredded lettuce, lime wedges, pico de gallo and a dollop of guacamole for added richness. Enjoy!
